Michelle Angela Viadnes

I stare at the sky filled with vibrant colors that
beautifully create ombres
This same salmon sky – I remember different scenes of the setting sun
but still in this exact same place I’m standing at the edge
of a stone cliff.
I’m hearing the roar of waves that keep on crashing into the stone.
I can sense the peacefulness it brings.

This poem sprouted in the Philippines, in response to “#RewriteCOP: Enhancing implementation, action by non-party stakeholders” by Jenny Mae Albinio in the Philippines.
