The Sleeping Dragon

Ghina Rozan

Once upon a time, between the valley of mountains
Laid a sleeping dragon
It is said that it used to fly around, spreading the seed of dreams
Turning the land into a pool of flowers
And people swimming under the warm sunshine.
But now the dragon is asleep
Under the cloudy sky:
All I see is dull gray
And eyes wet from the cry.
