Where are you Now?

An invitation to meditate on Place, offered by Agam Agenda.

To be fully present in one’s place is to reckon with how we exist in shared landscapes. How do we, human beings, interact with the natures to which we belong?

Attend to the place you’re in. Where are you Now?

What are the lands and waters that have sustained you and your ancestors?

Why does this place matter?

Who and what is part of this web of life?

What are the materials that have made your surroundings? Where did they come from?

What nurtures you daily?

What did it take for the place that surrounds you to be made?

What had to be destroyed or desecrated?

We invite you to reflect on what relationships of injustice, or care, make this place you’re in. What kinds of neighbors are we?
