All Systems Have Cracks
Mishika Chauhan

When will you stop calling
the seeds people grow in the sky;
seeds we call hope for a future
a “toolkit”?

When will you stop putting,

people who hold those seeds of hope,
a call to action, in their fists
with such care,
such vulnerability,
such vision,
immense courage,
behind bars?

Don’t you realize

all systems have cracks
from where the seeds find light
to grow green.
