Climate’s Cry

Aillen Paradero Pamatong

The climate’s cry, it echoes loud,
The world is changing, it’s not allowed,
With raging storms, and fires ablaze,
We must act fast, before it’s too late.

The Earth is hurting, it’s plain to see,
We must take action, urgently,
To cut emissions, and reduce our waste,
To heal the planet, with love and grace.

So let us listen, to the climate’s cry,
And work together, before we die,
To save our world, and all that’s in it,
To build a future, where all can benefit.

This poem sprouted in the Philippines, in response to “#RewriteCOP: Enhancing implementation, action by non-party stakeholders” by Jenny Mae Albinio in the Philippines.
