Beauty of Environment

Jocevel Ventura

Pebbles by the riverbed,
Glistening in the morning dew,
Each one unique, their beauty spread,
A tapestry of shades and hue.

They may seem small and insignificant,
Yet their impact is far and wide;
As they remind us of our predicament,

And the need for us to take a side.
The ‘environment is in distress,
Our planet is suffering from our deeds,
But each pebble serves to impress,
On us the urgency of our needs.

So let us all unite,
And work towards a better earth,
One where every pebble shines bright,
And nature is given the worth it’s worth
