Downpour

A. Morales, S. Macion, M. Quinanola, A. Abajar, M. Eguia

Then by a sudden change, without warning!
The sea rages be alarmed from tumultuous foams be calmed.
Barefoot in the sand,
The rain falls on my skin
Thunder booms and lightning strikes
I watch the storm begin. The sea is placid, its silence befitting
meditation
its silence —
I can let me thoughts free to the flashing raindrops to be
And blush that I should ever be

Straight I upbraid my wondering heart,
And blush that I should ever be
Thus prone to act so abase apart,
Harbour one hard thought I’ll be.
