Saudade

Gracel Jane G. Adolfo, Sheila Marie Cabilin, Vanessa C. Rone, Mary Jane L. Bañares, Irish Galanido

The sea is placid, its silence befitting meditation.
The sea breeze hums and whispers a secret inspiration.
As I laze around the beach with a picturesque imagination,
Such a fine day to discover a charming destination.

I stare at the pink-tinged sky, and the last moment of the sun before it sinks.
Forgetting all the painful yesterdays with tomorrow’s mist with just an enthusiastic blink.

The waves tingle my fragile heart with such a nice melody,
The shore is engraved with lovely words someone wrote perfectly.
Watching the sea with deep thoughts within me,
What a wonderful journey to seize the day!
