How I wish

Regine P. Dagpin

I wish I have wings so I can fly,
And travel the world anytime
This ideal place of mine
I wish I could go for the first time

Iceland is the place I want to go
Has an interesting nature that I want to know
I would love to study and explore
To understand its secrets and beauty to show

Blue lagoon, bubbling hot springs, and powerful waterfalls
Those are natural wonders that calls
How I wish to see all those

But what excites me the most?
To see the Northern lights how it goes
I shall be telling this with a sigh
How I wish to have wings to fly

It’s just a long dream of mine
But hoping to be fulfilled and fine
An ambitious girl like me
Wishing it would be
