Nature

Larra Engga

Trees are protecting us.
Wind blowing our hair
Birds singing with inspiration
Breathing in God’s blessings.

The water was crystal clear and glowing.
There are plenty of fish, and rivers are flowing.
The ocean is astonishing.
The stars are like diamonds, shining.

The land is constantly giving birth.
Giving life to all living things on Earth.
Our recklessness and abusiveness
Resulting in destruction.

Keep what has been given for free.
Our oceans, skies, forests, and existence
Once they’re gone, we’re done.
Consider yourself forewarned before it’s already too late.

Don’t be blind,
And be kind.
Open your eyes.
Protect nature at all costs.
